Camp Information
Tents: 50 45 housing tents, 1 chief tent, 1 training tent, 1 storage tent, 1 meeting tent and 1 medical tent. Residents per tent: 10 Weapons: 60% long range (long bows), 20% close range hunting (spears, knives), 15% close range fighting (swords, staffs), 5% tactical (gas, chemicals) Resources: Trees for wood, lake for water, animals to hunt for food, good crops, and herbs for medicinal purposes. |
Life and Work Information
Age of Education: 5 Upon turning 5, lessons begin immediately and the child will learn math, English, science, history and mythology. Age of Maturity: 13 Upon reaching the age of maturity, education is stopped and work begins. They work under their parents/guardians. Age of Apprenticeship: 14 After one year of serving under their parents/guardians, they have the right to choose one of many jobs. They can train as a healer, a chef, a hunter, a builder or a diplomat (limitations apply). Age of Independence: 16 The individual has the right to be included in meetings, leave camp on their own, and even start a family of their own when they see fit. Age of Requirement: 20 The individual must have maintained a job and be contributing to the society. If they are not, they shall be removed early. They will also be required to go to the courts for a jury duty whenever requested (about once every 5 crimes). Age of Expulsion: 35 The individual must leave the safety of Camp Kibuka and journey into the real world at this point. They were welcome back for visitation and, in the event of a crisis, support, though will be asked to leave at any time. |
Camp Rules
Crime Limit: 2 The first crime committed will be forgiven under all circumstances, but the second will be punishable by death. Jail Sentence: Dependent on crime committed. Murder or crimes of similar violence when under the age of thirteen is 50 days in jail. Theft of food, medicine, or private property is 25 days in jail. Breaking curfew is 10 days in jail. Refusal to attend school for reasons other than severe illness or a family crisis is punishable by 5 days in jail. Not doing chores ordered by the chief of interim chief such as cleaning the latrines, keeping watch, or apprenticing for someone other than your usual master will result in 2 days in jail. Getting an F in school will always result in 1 night in jail once you have reached the age of 7 unless you have a learning disability. Death Row: Anyone over 13 Anyone over the age of 13 to have committed two crimes will be executed, but if they are under 13 they will be forgiven once again unless it was a serious offense, in which case they will be removed from camp. Work Order: The healer must authorize an order for an individual not to work based on a mental or physical handicap. Curfew: The legal curfew to be back inside your home is 8, but you must be inside the camp borders by 6. |
